We recently rescued a cat who, poor thing, doesn't seem to understand yet what toys are for or how playing works. Cue us frantically looking for ways to make her feel comfortable and engaged and, of all the toys we bought to try with her, these were the only ones she responded to. I don't actually get it, since she ignores other catnip toys and also just saucers full of catnip, but she likes these. She likes to chew them, bat at them, and sit on them and, sometimes after playing with them, she'll then attack her own tail before deciding it's nap time.So they do work, and they do seem to appeal to Sophie on levels beyond just "they have catnip in them." It's been a real relief to see her actually having some fun for a change. My cat likes toys for a really short time and when he's done, it's forever. He loved this silly thing right from the get go. Even after having it for sometime, he still picks it out from his basket of toys.My cat was able to use those just fineMy kitten loves this! She chews, kicks, pounced, etc.... all over our living room. Definitely one of her favorites. I think the frog noise it makes, cinched the deal for her, lol. Definitely worth the money.I won’t order again because of the change in price. That is awful. 3 now 1 and $3.00 more tooThis toy is their favorite of allMy cat has a big crush on the blue narwhal. She immediately went for it and carried it around. When she gets close to it she jumps in the air and waves her paws around.Note, both of them came a little dirty? Idk why but my cat doesn’t careMy cats love it !! so of course I love it!!My dog destroyed the first one, so we got the second one!!!My cat, Merlin, had one of these catnip mice for a Christmas present many years ago and absolutely loved it, played with it and always slept with his head resting on it, but it was getting very grubby and shabby so, with a little difficulty and a bit of searching, I managed to order another one. Merlin was delighted with it but won't relinquish the original mouse, so he now has two. Might have to get another one though as my other cat, Magic, is very jealous and Merlin will not share.Looks good toy and my cat would not stop playing with it. Minus stars is because my cat managed to make few small holes in it in a few days of playing. But that is the whole purpose of the toy. Holes didn’t get any bigger yet so still in use, but I would think carefully before buying again. At first they were great but my cats became addicted to it very quickly and actually made themselves very sick. They were like a druggie to heroin. I had to throw them out. It was literally eat, toilet, then straight to the sticks. 24/7 junkie cat. Would get very agitated If I removed them and lash out. If you're cat (s) are sensitive to cat nip I'd avoid.First, I'd like to say that the product was greatly appreciated by Pumpernickel and Mr Spock, my cats, for approximately ten minutes, then the stitches abandoned the fight and yes, like dynamite, the catnip exploded all over the living room and on my cats' fur. I threw it out and the stray cats outside played with it, resulting in a very flat dynamite shortly after. All in all, cats were happy but for a very short time. I'm of course very disappointed.
