This is a cute toy, but as with pretty much all "Mighty" toys, my rambunctious black lab tore it up within hours. My rather large Airedale/Great Pyrenees mix has a rather large, strong mouth. So, that said, I cannot pretend that even this toy remains in tact for any length of time. But, the previous yeti toy was his favorite and even months after it was barely recognizable, he still carried it around.A bit pricey, but far stronger than most dog toys. And, he looks pretty funny carrying it around. It makes me smile...even when I'm picking up stuffing.Smaller than I thought but still a durable product! My dog managed to tear a hole below the head of the toy and expose the stuffing nmaterial. This toy was rated 8, and should have lasted a lot longer than a few hours of play.Very disappointed. Our Setter had the chest torn open in less than three minutes. I figured he was get an appendage off eventually...but the chest?? In a matter of minutes??10 minutes - lasted just 10 minutes; my 8 month old Irish Wolfhound had it in pieces. Not a "10" by the Tuffy rating system, maybe a 6.My 15lb Boston Terrier ripped the stuffing out from the back of this doll's head in a week's time. Do not waste your money on this toy!Super cute, used it for my pregnancy announcement. However, as a dog toy, my lab puppy destroyed it within seconds. There was stuffing everywhere.Okay, I freely admit I didn't buy this product for a dog (unless I'm really unkind about myself lol), but just handling it you can feel the quality and durability. This 'Junior' version of the product is really for medium sized dogs - if you have an Old English Sheepdog or an Irish Wolfhound, there's a bigger version tailored for a dog that size. The toy is machine washable and can be air dried.I actually bought this because I collect, where funds permit, cuddly toy equines; it was the only realistic looking Pegasus in my price bracket, and realism - as far as possible for a mythological creature - is important to me: in my opinion, it's a sad indictment on the modern soft toy industry that to find a 'realistic' looking Pegasus for a reasonable price, I had to buy a chew toy. The other thing that drew me to the product is the fact that it's black; the designers' reasons for this are very obvious, but black cuddly Pegasi aren't all that common that I can discover.Personally I'm very happy with it. How would it perform with a dog? The manufacturer's blurb suggests the answer is 'very well', but I suggest you find out for yourself.my sisters dog is terrified of this .i bought it for her dog for christmas.sister reckons it is the ugliest dog toy she has ever seen .It has lasted well and the description was accurate. The stitching does make it much more durable than other dog toys we've boughtFinally found a teddy my husky doesn't rip apart on the first day. Bought in March and still going strong
